Former Employee - Order Selector says

"You'll never know when you're getting off. Rude employees all around the board. from veteran order selectors booting you out of the way because they're running rate way faster than you. The forklift drivers are plain rude even though they only take naps during the shift and or sit down the entire shift, they act as if their job requires strain and effort so when you ask them for help they'll mock you. The Dockworkers believe you work for the meaning if you're running behind on a pallet they'll come searching for you and chew you out as if they're your boss. The equipment is run down to the point you'll be driving and the brakes on your pallet jack will give out or the steering will jerk away from you. This company gives the best jacks to the freezer guys who run 120% or more"

Current Employee - Warehouse Supervisor says

"No work life balance & no structure"

Truck Driver Class A (Former Employee) says

"I started there and got my CDL through them at first they seemed cool. The training is awful you get a paper with instructions and left to your own to figure it out. It's basically sink or swim. Communication is non existent. There is favoritism. The drive out times are nuts. Be prepared to never see your family or have no social life because you will work at least 16 to 20 hours a shift 4 days a week. Yes you make decent money but you can make more money without even touching freight a. Upper management treats drivers like garbage barking out orders they don't care about you. All they care about is you delivering there precious groceries so they can make a profit all while they sit back and crack the whip. I heard the place has a 85 percent turnover rate that means there is a problem. Other drivers you get teamed with can be ignorant. Having to go to the bathroom is a sign of weakness. Not stopping an entire day. You can go other places and get payed more..treated better...and less work..the place is kind of a last resort for a job. NoneBad management. Long hours. Treated like a slave. Bad training."

Route Driver (Former Employee) says

"management dont care about the employees If you get hurt on the they will try to get rid of you.Over work you no gd equipment the trucks such. If your not white they don't care for you.noneeverything"

Truck Driver (Former Employee) says

"Salary is the worst compared to similar companies that do the exact same work. PFG is the 2nd largest food service at this point due to acquisitions. They pay the least and have the worst benefits. There are several divisions. TPC is rife with falsehoods, misguidance, and horrible equipment. Favoritism and no respect for drivers. Management hates each other so it pours down on drivers. Cutthroat island!!! Union shop and the union has been compromised years ago. Drivers pay 100% for their own healthcare and that is written into their contract. This place is only a job. Please find somewhere else and you'll thank me if not years later you'll remember reading my review and say to yourself I should've listened.A jobYou could do better in a lot of less places"

Driver (Former Employee) says

"Job has no values for Houston terminal Management needs to be fired old trucks old equipment old habits they don’t care at all they only worried about you getting the truck off the yard legal or illegal.Trash management don’t waste your time"

CDL Class A Driver (Former Employee) says

"Loads are thrown in the trailer and then you have to dig through everything to find your store’s product if it isn’t damaged or thaw because the reefers are useless. Every one is out to blame anyone and everyone else especially management. Constantly micro managing every movement especially after you complain about management because nothing is kept private. Extremely sexist so if you are a woman then don’t bother even applying even if you have experience"

Transportation Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"Mngmnt. works you like an animal and threatens your job by termination when you ask for a break. Constantly asked to lie/cheat. HR backs these actions"

Area Account Manager (Former Employee) says

"fun place to work, upper management has zero clue what it takes to get things done on the street level..........................................................................................................................this company would be better if they would fire the people in charge and not go by the "good old boy network.""

Inside sales representative (Former Employee) says

"this company does nothing for its employees. it is a horrible place to work as far as management. unorganized, favorites played, no training, enjoyed the customers"

Selector/Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says

"They expect you to give up your life, family, kids for them. Long Hours, Low pay, then when you have stuff come up (like a funeral) they call you at home and tell you if you don't come in your fired. The place is a joke. The management is terrible, accidents happen all the time because everyone is overworked. But if you report an injury, you get fired. Mutiple osha and health violations everyday. If you respect yourself, DON'T WORK FOR THEM!"
